The Committee\u003cbr\u003e \u003cem\u003ei.\u003c/em\u003e will request that both parties to the complaint submit written evidence regarding the incident(s);\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eii.\u003c/em\u003e may decide (at its sole discretion) to uphold or dismiss the complaint without holding a hearing;\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eiii.\u003c/em\u003e may (at its sole discretion) hold a hearing (whether or not such a hearing is requested by either party) at which both parties will be entitled to attend and present their case;\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eiv.\u003c/em\u003e will have the power to impose any one or more of the following sanctions on any person found to be in breach of any club policy \u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e(a)\u003c/em\u003e warn as to future conduct;\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e(b)\u003c/em\u003e suspend from membership;\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e(c)\u003c/em\u003e recommended removal from membership to the Management Committee ;\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e(d)\u003c/em\u003e exclude a non-member from the Club, either temporarily or permanently; and\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e(e)\u003c/em\u003e turn down a non-member’s current and/or future membership\u003cbr\u003e \u003cem\u003ev.\u003c/em\u003e will provide both parties with written reasons for its decision to uphold or dismiss the complaint\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003evi.\u003c/em\u003e Either party may appeal a decision of the committee to the County Association (including a decision not to hold a hearing) by writing to the [County Secretary] within 3 months of the Club’s decision being notified to that party.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e4.\u003c/em\u003e When the Committee meets it will take into account any background information deemed relevant including the personal circumstances of the person complained about. It will consider any advice or guidance that may be appropriate that may be relevant to a resolution of the complaint.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e5.\u003c/em\u003e If a complaint is made about a member of the Committee the person complained about will absent themselves from that Committee’s meeting called to determine the outcome unless called to give their account.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn the event that a complaint is lodged against a member of the public or any person not a member of the tennis club then the matter will be referred to the Bagshot Playing Fields Association by Bagshot Tennis Club.
